CAMP COORDINATOR
Description
Job Type:- This is a Term Position (April to August 2026)
Hours of Work:- 40 hours per week (may include evenings and weekends)
Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the overall planning, organization, administration, and delivery of the summer camp program. This includes providing leadership and supervision to camp staff, developing programming, overseeing program operations such as budgeting, scheduling, and staff supervision, and ensuring participant safety while maintaining high-quality, inclusive recreational experiences for children and youth. The Coordinator also supports Camp Counsellors and serves as the primary point of contact for program operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in program coordination, recreation, education, or a related field
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
- Strong organizational, administrative, and leadership skills
- Experience with budgeting and program planning is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with children and youth
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
