Facility Attendant

Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
The City of Thompson invites qualified applicants to submit a resume for consideration for the part-time position of Facility Attendant for the Thompson Regional Community Centre (TRCC).
This position is responsible for receiving visitors, giving out authorized information, patrolling the change rooms, public areas and entrances, providing assistance to customers and general public by answering questions and providing directions within the facilities and equipment, and performing light cleaning duties. The Facility Attendant will be greeting user groups, ensuring meeting room set-up for meetings and events, relaying messages and recording complaints, handling dressing room keys and assignments.
Candidates will be enthusiastic and promote a positive image of our facilities and programs. Additional qualifications include: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently with little supervision, and a general knowledge of the facility operations and equipment. There are no minimum hours guaranteed.
